Cornhole rules: one-page sheet

Official backyard and rec-league play under American Cornhole Association rules. Agree on this list before the first throw.

1. 1.Two boards, 27ft apart (front edge to front edge)
2. 2.Four bags per team, contrasting colors, eight bags total
3. 3.Underhand throws from behind the front board edge (foul line)
4. 4.Alternate throws, four per team per round
5. 5.Score after all eight bags land and stop moving
6. 6.3 points in the hole, 1 on the board, 0 off or dead
7. 7.Cancellation scoring: higher frame minus lower frame
8. 8.First to 21 or more at end of a frame wins (no bust under ACA)
9. 9.Dead bag: touched ground before board, foot fault, or bounced from ground onto board
10. 10.Pick ACA, ACO, or ACL standard before play
